Monopoly with WAM

WAM Clothing hold the complete MONOPOLY over the Aboriginal flag with their world wide exclusive rights on clothing, physical and digital media and now the flag emoji. 

To pass GO, you must get permission from this Non-Indigenous company to use the flag on clothing and uniforms and pay what is rumoured to be a 20% “flag tax”. 

This is no longer only affecting businesses. We are now hearing of Community Orgs and Sporting Clubs experiencing the repercussions of the copyright on the Aboriginal flag. 

Our flag is being held hostage.
